Psychotherapy for Children, Adolescents, and Adults
Do you want to be listened to and fully understood?

Are you having a difficult time disciplining your kids? Are you realizing that therapy for your child will   improve their functioning and your family's functioning?

I have 20 years of experience working with children. Play therapy with children is basically the same as talk therapy with adults. You allow your thoughts, perceptions, and difficult-to-face feelings emerge, and this openness to yourself and your therapist, is the first step towards change.

In addition to working with children, I nurture an ongoing relationship with parents, using the information I receive about their child's personality at home, to build on my understanding of what's contributing to their child's struggles. I also collaborate with school personnel to develop an even more comprehensive picture of my client, socially, emotionally, and academically.

Do you feel that you sabotage your happiness?

You are starting to realize that you make the same "wrong for you" choices and do the same unproductive things over and over again. You sense that your poor self esteem has gotten in the way of facing challenges, personal as well as professional. If you no longer want to become depressed, anxious, or angry as quickly and frequently as you have been, then now is the time to make that change.

Together we will make connections between the past and the present, and this newfound ability to understand yourself more clearly, and to feel more deeply, will be a transformative one.

My interactive and responsive style will enable you to feel safe enough for us to make this exploration of your life a meaningful and healing one.
